xMatters Rebrand Case Study

When SAAS platform xMatters decided their service reliability platform needed a visual upgrade to help meet growth goals for 2021, they called on FINAO. We helped them develop a clear design system to help speak to the DevOps organizations and site reliability engineers that use their product and forged new connections with prospective customers.

New logo and more

DevOps and SREs use xMatters to keep services running and automate incident responses. When dealing with threat management and physical security, the stakes are high; FINAO made sure the innovative culture that makes xMatters stand out from the competition were reflected in the company’s new logo, color palette, and photography style. We additionally provided a custom library of hand-drawn icons to support the different products and brand needs as well as infographics and illustration style for use in content, promotional assets, landing pages, and marketing website.

Fresh branding

The xMatters brand needed a consistent visual identity to elevate their platform and showcase an understanding of their target audience’s unique pain points. FINAO created comprehensive brand standards to reflect company culture, mission, and long-term vision. It had to resonate with the technical nature of their audience, and leverage product responsiveness and best in class reliability.

Branding to meet goals

Just weeks after the new xMatters brand was introduced, the company announced a $240 million acquisition by Everbridge, an enterprise software company and pioneer in critical event management. The new logo and branding made the jump and continue to represent the xMatters platform under the Everbridge umbrella.
