Cordial Rebrand, Website Development

The Cordial brand is an up and coming player in the email service provider space with plans for monumental growth over the next three years. Their first user conference in Q1 19 was targeted as the perfect platform to unveil of a fully re-envisioned brand. FINAO® started by spending one on one time with the CEO, CMO and other executive team members. From those sessions a more complete understanding of the brand origin, history of the current messaging platform, marketing/sales playbook, and other crucial insight was gained. Most importantly we found alignment in brand culture, values, vision and focus for the company’s future.

Brand Alignment

FINAO® pushed forward creating a custom hand drawn letterform and word mark that speaks to the friendly, approachable and helpful brand culture. The wave between the “a” and the “l” is a groovy nod to their Southern Cal. mindset and headquarters in San Diego. From there our team created a visual brand style guide defining typography, color palette, illustration style and an entirely customized icon library.


We completed the brand visual transformation from startup to enterprise with a net new marketing website that showcases both customers and product. The big reveal at Cordial's user conference Bespoke represented a huge win for marketing, sales and the product.
